2024 Trout Water Youth Summer Camp Announced 6/23 through 6/28
The camp takes up to 13 youth, and the cost is $650 for the week which includes room, board & all meals. Our camp chairman is Bob Mead & Co-chair Mike Walchko.
Each teen will learn fly casting, fly tying, they will learn about conservation projects, complete a macroinvertebrate survey, participate in electroshocking a local stream with the DEC and learn multiple methods of presenting a fly. Each evening the teens go fishing with a Fishing Buddy on the water. It's a great opportunity for our youth in NYS. In the past our chapter has offered to sponsor a camper from our area and we most likely will again.

The camp is also looking for adults who can attend in the evening (6pm-8:30pm) as a "Fishing Buddy". For those Fishing Buddies who are out of town, the camp has reserved the main lodge at Dreamcatcher for lodging. If you are interested in being a fishing buddy for the evenings of June 24, 25,26 or 27th. Please contact Bob Mead at ramead@gmail.com. You don't have to volunteer for all the nights if you're not available.
