April 2025 Conservation Report

On May 3,2025 at 10:00 AM we will be planting Trees on Trout Brook at the Hillside Bridge Road. We will also be doing some tree tube removal and clean up on the North Branch of Wiscoy Creek. Lunch will be provided. Please email me at conservation@wnytroutunlimited.org if you are interested in participating.

On May 5 at 10:00 AM Kyle Glenn from Northeast TU will be doing an electroshocking demonstration on Wiscoy Creek with students from the Genesee Valley BOCES. If you are interested in attending, please contact Kyle at Kyle.Glenn@tu.org.

On May 17, 2025, Trout Unlimited along with several other organizations has teamed up with the NYDEC for a 1-day event called Trout Trek to post signs on up to 400 Brook Trout ponds in the Adirondacks. If you are interested in helping, send an email to the Jesse Vadala. jesse.vadala@tu.org
