DEC is looking for YOUR input on the new steelhead plan
"The biggest topic we are presenting to your group is our development of a new steelhead management plan, as the previous plan expires at the end of 2025. With that being said, we greatly value your groups feedback on the plan. We are not making any ground breaking changes in our management as things are going pretty well, but now is the time for us to hear your thoughts as this will be our guiding document to steelhead management in NY for the next 10 years. I have attached a draft copy of the management plan to this email, please distribute this plan to your group before the meeting so your members have time to read and hopefully discuss their thoughts with us at the meeting."
