2026 State Youth Trout Camp Announced
This is a full week of camp with lots of fly fishing instruction and fishing on the Delaware River. The youth will learn fly tying, knot tying, conservation & entomology.
We have exciting news; we have found a new location for our NY TU Trout Waters summer youth camp this year. We have secured Camp Amahami, 434 Page Pond Road, Deposit NY 13754. This facility is a girl scout camp that has lodging for our campers on a lake. It’s near Oquaga Creek, and it takes about 15 minutes to get to Deposit NY from the camp. It has lake waterfront for fishing along with lodges for dining, sleeping and fly tying for our teens. We are still working out all the details and plans for the camp.
Campers Needed: We are looking for teens ages 14-17 to join us this summer at TU Trout Waters Camp. We plan to accept ~16 youth again this year. Chapters can start to recruit youth from their chapters. The cost this year will be $850 per student, which includes food, lodging, and transportation for the week. We are excited for chapters who can afford it to sponsor a youth! If you can’t find a youth, please consider a donation to help offset costs for our camp.
